Rubbing Plates

Leaf rubbing plates are versatile and will enhance learning with a hands-on, enjoyable project. Add texture to artwork by placing paper over a plate and rubbing with a crayon, marker or pencil to make the design emerge. Fill with or press into modeling clay, or use with paper mache. Fill tray with white glue and food color, let it dry, then peel the resulting mold off- you’ve made your very own suncatcher!
